In this Gospel preaching, you will hear of three people who came to Jesus. Each person’s life was transformed by the life of Jesus.
What is the state of my heart? The Gospel is preached to awaken fallen man to their need of a Saviour. The Bible tells us that in our sins we find ourselves short of the glory of God. Many people try to earn favour with God by doing God works, attending meetings or giving to charity. The scriptures tell us that the only way to find peace with God is through the completed work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Gospel is preached to announce the Good news that God has provided a Saviour in the Lord Jesus Christ. In this Gospel preaching, you will hear of two situations of distance from the Bible where God drew near to mankind.
In Luke 15, we read of a parable that Jesus told about two sons who were lost. The Lord uses this parable to explain the Gospel message and the love of God for mankind.
At Calvary, we see an unjust scene when mankind nailed the Lord Jesus to a cross. The Bible tells us that since sin came into the Garden of Eden all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Mankind has tried to earn favour with God through their good works but there is only one way we can be brought back to God by the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. What can wash away our sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What do you value most in your life? Money, Your Job, your car, your house. How about your soul? Jesus said that your soul is worth more than the rest of the world put together. God sent his only son Jesus into this world to rescue you and to save your soul. The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus journeyed to Calvary’s cross to redeem us from our sins and bring us into the joy of knowing him as our saviour. This joy can be yours today if you surrender to Christ and accept him as saviour and Lord.
There is good news to announce in the Gospel because God has provided a wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came into the world to seek and to save the lost. The Bible tells us that he journeyed to Calvery’s Cross to rescue sinful man from perishing and to bring us Salvation.
Come and listen to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ God’s great invitation to mankind. By God’s wonderful grace there is another opportunity today to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord. Without Christ, we find ourselves without hope and heading toward judgment but in the Gospel, there is good news. The Lord Jesus came into the world as a Saviour to save you and bring you salvation.
