Throughout the whole of history there was no one like Jesus. The Lord Jesus was set apart from everyone else he knew no sin he was perfect. God proclaimed on the mountain of transfiguration with a bright light shining on the face of Jesus, “This* is my beloved Son, in whom I have found my delight: hear him”. The Gospel is preached to point you to this glorious saviour, Jesus Christ who journeyed to Calvary’s cross to save you from your sins.
Freedom is something we all strive for that we may obtain true liberty. Jesus came into the world to set sinners free from the power of the devil. The Bible tells us that only one person has the power to deliver you from sin and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Over 2000 years ago, the Lord Jesus came into this world to bring Salvation to mankind. It was at Calvary’s cross where he demonstrated His love for us by taking the sinner’s place that we might be saved from the coming judgment.
Life is full of choices some good and some not so good. We have all experienced times when we’ve made a good choice or a bad choice in our lives. The Bible tells us he came into this world to rescue the sinner by going to Calvary’s Cross where he suffered for our sins. This great invitation you can receive by repenting of your sin and putting your faith in Jesus.
