Each Christian is on a journey, and the destination is heaven, where Jesus has ascended to His Father’s right hand. While we wait for the Lord’s call to heaven, we are all on a journey, and there are four features we need for this journey. In this address, you will hear of these four features. Firstly, the need to have an altar—a daily communication with God himself through prayer. Secondly, the importance of finding food to sustain you along our journey. Thirdly, when difficulties come, we are not to be diverted from the divine highway. The fourth feature is to keep our eye on the heavenly goal.
Jesus is the turning point that leads to eternal blessing. Many people today are searching for hope but without the Lord Jesus as Saviour many find themselves short of hope. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came into this world on a rescue mission to save you from your sins and bring you peace with God. Jesus is the turning point that leads to these blessings.
As you listen to this Gospel preaching we want to lay before you one specific word, and that word is Eternity. Where will you spend eternity? What preparation have you made for eternity?
In this preaching you will hear of the victorious Gospel message from God’s holy word. The heart of God is seen fully at Calvary’s cross where the Lord Jesus laid down His life for sinners. In this message you will hear of two seals one that was placed on the tomb of Jesus. The second seal referrers to the seal God puts on the heart of the believer who has come to faith in Christ and is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
The Gospel is preached to set sinners FREE from their sins. God is offering deliverance for sinners because of the victorious work Jesus completed at Calvary’s cross. The Lord Jesus came into this world to proclaim liberty to the captives and you can receive this wonderful salvation by coming to Jesus in faith. The precious blood of Jesus shed at Calvary can wash away every sin. God’s word says, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”.
What possession in your life is most precious to you? Everyone will answer this question differently. The Gospel is preached to focus our attention on a possession that is far greater than anything material; a relationship with the Savour, Jesus Christ.
God sought for a man who would be able to deliver His people from captivity but He found none. The Bible tells us there was no one found upon the earth so when the fulness of time had come God sent His Son, Jesus Christ as Saviour of the world. The Gospel is preached because God has established a way of salvation by the work Jesus completed at Calvary’s cross.
Life is one big journey full of many landmarks. The Gospel is preached to announce to you the way to heaven through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
