The Man Christ Jesus

Preachers Corner https://www.preacherscorner.org.uk

Jesus faced all the challenges that we face as mankind, and yet he remained perfect and without sin. He was sent by God to provide salvation to fallen sinful man. God’s word tells us there is only one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus. Have you accepted Jesus as your Saviour and Lord?

Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Isaiah 2:22 “Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for what account is to be made of him?”

Romans 5:12For this [cause], even as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; and thus death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Romans 5:15 “But [shall] not the act of favour [be] as the offence? For if by the offence of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which [is] by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many.”

Hebrews 2:6-9but one has testified somewhere, saying, What is man, that thou rememberest him, or son of man that thou visitest him? Thou hast made him some little inferior to the angels; thou hast crowned him with glory and honour, [and hast set him over the works of thy hands;] thou hast subjected all things under his feet. For in subjecting all things to him, he has left nothing unsubject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to *him*, but we see Jesus, who [was] made some little inferior to angels on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; so that by the grace of God he should taste death for every thing.

Hebrews 2:14-15Since therefore the children partake of blood and flesh, he also, in like manner, took part in the same, that through death he might annul him who has the might of death, that is, the devil;and might set free all those who through fear of death through the whole of their life were subject to bondage.”

Acts 10:38-43Jesus who [was] of Nazareth: how God anointed him with [the] Holy Spirit and with power; who went through [all quarters] doing good, and healing all that were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. *We* also [are] witnesses of all things which he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they also slew, having hanged him on a cross. This [man] God raised up the third day and gave him to be openly seen, not of all the people, but of witnesses who were chosen before of God, *us* who have eaten and drunk with him after he arose from among [the] dead. And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that *he* it is who was determinately appointed of God [to be] judge of living and dead. To him all the prophets bear witness that every one that believes on him will receive through his name remission of sins.”
