Consider the Lord Jesus Christ—the One foretold by Isaiah as a tender sapling growing out of dry ground, humble yet sent by God to bring salvation. From Psalm 1, we see the blessed Man whose delight was always in God’s will, bringing fruit and blessing to all who trust in Him. Come and hear the good news of God’s love and the salvation found through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 53:1-2 “Who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.”
Psalms 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;
2 But his delight is in Jehovah’s law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he [is] as a tree planted by brooks of water, which giveth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf fadeth not; and all that he doeth prospereth.”
Galatians 3:10 “10 For as many as are on the principle of works of law are under curse. For it is written, Cursed is every one who does not continue in all things which [are] written in the book of the law to do them”
