1 Samuel 2:18-19 “18 And Samuel ministered before Jehovah, a boy girded with a linen ephod.19 And his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to sacrifice the yearly sacrifice.”
1 Samuel 2:26 “26 And the boy Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with Jehovah and also with men.”

Daniel 1:8 “8 And Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not pollute himself with the king’s delicate food, nor with the wine which he drank; and he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not have to pollute himself.9 And God granted Daniel favour and mercy before the prince of the eunuchs.”
Daniel 1:14-16 “14 And he hearkened unto them in this matter, and proved them ten days.15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and were fatter in flesh than all the youths that ate of the king’s delicate food.16 So the steward took away their delicate food, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.”
Daniel 6:10 “10 And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and, his windows being open in his upper chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.11 But those men came in a body, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.”
2 Timothy 1:12 “12 For which cause also I suffer these things; but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep for that day the deposit I have entrusted to him.”
