God isn’t looking for religion—He’s seeking true worshipers. Through the Gospel, He is calling us to Himself, drawing us to Jesus who went to the cross to bring salvation for mankind. This preaching invites you to respond to that call and worship God in spirit and in truth.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Acts 17:16 “16 But in Athens, while Paul was waiting for them, his spirit was painfully excited in him seeing the city given up to idolatry.”
Acts 17:22-23 “22 And Paul standing in the midst of Areopagus said, Athenians, in every way I see you given up to demon worship;23 for, passing through and beholding your shrines, I found also an altar on which was inscribed, To the unknown God. “
John 4:19-2419 The woman says to him, Sir, I see that thou art a prophet.20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain, and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where one must worship.21 Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, [the] hour is coming when ye shall neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what; we worship what we know, for salvation is of the Jews.23 But [the] hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for also the Father seeks such as his worshippers.24 God [is] a spirit; and they who worship him must worship [him] in spirit and truth.”
John 14:6 “6 Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me.”
