Many people today are searching for peace and in the Gospel God offers peace for the sinner. God sent His son, Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners and bring peace for those who trust in Him. The Lord Jesus went to Calvary’s cross where he suffered and died that peace might be made by the blood of His cross.

Isaiah 57:20-21 “20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, which cannot rest, and whose waters cast up mire and dirt.21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”
Isaiah 53:5 “5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.”
Romans 4:24-25 “to whom, believing on him who has raised from among [the] dead Jesus our Lord,25 who has been delivered for our offences and has been raised for our justification, it will be reckoned.”
Romans 5:1-2 “5 Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ;2 by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.”
