Peter and John were marked by boldness because of the confidence they had in the Lord Jesus Christ. Each beliver should be marked by boldness in service for the Lord.

Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

Acts 4:13-1613 But seeing the boldness of Peter and John, and perceiving that they were unlettered and uninstructed men, they wondered; and they recognised them that they were with Jesus.14 And beholding the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to reply;

15 but having commanded them to go out of the council they conferred with one another,16 saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed an evident sign has come to pass through their means is manifest to all that inhabit Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.”

Hebrews 10:10-2210 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.11 And every priest stands daily ministering, and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

12 But *he*, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at [the] right hand of God,13 waiting from henceforth until his enemies be set [for the] footstool of his feet.14 For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified.15 And the Holy Spirit also bears us witness [of it]; for after what was said:

16 This [is] the covenant which I will establish towards them after those days, saith [the] Lord: Giving my laws into their hearts, I will write them also in their understandings;17 and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more.18 But where there [is] remission of these, [there is] no longer a sacrifice for sin.19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness for entering into the [holy of] holies by the blood of Jesus,

20 the new and living way which he has dedicated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh,21 and [having] a great priest over the house of God,22 let us approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, sprinkled as to our hearts from a wicked conscience, and washed as to our body with pure water.”

1 John 4:15-1915 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.16 And *we* have known and have believed the love which God has to us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God in him.17 Herein has love been perfected with us that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that even as *he* is, *we* also are in this world.

18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has torment, and he that fears has not been made perfect in love.19 *We* love because *he* has first loved us.”
