We are beginning an new year and by God’s wonderful grace the Gospel is still being proclaimed to mankind. What wonderful love is shown to us by God. Over 2000 years ago the Lord Jesus came into the world to save sinners and bring salvation by going to Calvary’s cross.

Mark 1:1-10 “Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God;2 as it is written in [Isaiah] the prophet, Behold, *I* send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.3 Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of [the] Lord, make his paths straight.4 There came John baptising in the wilderness, and preaching [the] baptism of repentance for remission of sins.

Luke 24:45-47 “45 Then he opened their understanding to understand the scriptures,46 and said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved the Christ to suffer, and to rise from among the dead the third day;47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations beginning at Jerusalem.”
Revelation 22:13-16 “13 *I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.14 Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.
