The Gospel is a message of hope to sinners from God himself but it does come with a warning. The scriptures say, “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment”. The Gospel is preached by God’s grace that you may flee from the judgment to come through the great Salvation that has been provided by the Lord Jesus Christ.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt certainly die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, that he may live: the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand.19 But if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”
Luke 3:7-8 “Offspring of vipers, who has forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath?
8 Produce therefore fruits worthy of repentance; and begin not to say in yourselves, We have Abraham for [our] father”
Acts 17:30-31 “30 God therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, now enjoins men that they shall all everywhere repent,
31 because he has set a day in which he is going to judge the habitable earth in righteousness by [the] man whom he has appointed, giving the proof [of it] to all [in] having raised him from among [the] dead.”
Hebrews 2:2-3 “2 For if the word which was spoken by angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received just retribution,3 how shall *we* escape if we have been negligent of so great salvation”
