The Gospel is God’s invitation to you. Jesus came to this earth over 2000 years ago on a rescue mission to save sinners. The Bible tells us that Jesus went to Calvary’s cross where he took on himself our sins and shed his precious blood to provide salvation.
If we take a look around us today or even back in history we see one big barrier separating us from a holy and righteous God. That barrier is “SIN”. This sin barrier is too much for us to take on ourselves. In fact, there is no way we can remove it on our own but God in love has provided a Saviour in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is good and He is ready to forgive you of your sins.
We are living in a very uncertain world today. People today are searching for certainty that they may be at peace in their souls. The Gospel is a message of certainties and God’s word tells us that there is a way to find peace and forgiveness with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
What is the way to heaven? Many people have asked this question over the centuries and it is still being asked today. The Bible tells us the way to find salvation and the way to heaven is found in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Old Testament story of Manasseh is a wonderful picture of God’s Grace. Manasseh was a king who came to the throne of Judah at just 12 years old. The Bible says he did what was evil in the sight of God and led the people of Judah astray but when God stepped into his life then he knew that Jehovah, was God. In the Gospel, God has shown wonderful grace and love to mankind by providing a Saviour, Jesus Christ who can redeem us from sin.
