2 Corinthians 4:6-7“6 Because [it is] the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of [Jesus] Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassingness of the power may be of God, and not from us:”
John 1:35-42 “35 Again, on the morrow, there stood John and two of his disciples.36 And, looking at Jesus as he walked, he says, Behold the Lamb of God.37 And the two disciples heard him speaking, and followed Jesus.
38 But Jesus having turned, and seeing them following, says to them, What seek ye? And *they* said to him, Rabbi (which, being interpreted, signifies Teacher), where abidest thou?
39 He says to them, Come and see. They went therefore, and saw where he abode; and they abode with him that day. It was about the tenth hour.40 Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard [this] from John and followed him.41 He first finds his own brother Simon, and says to him, We have found the Messias (which being interpreted is Christ).42 And he led him to Jesus. “
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 “9 And Jabez was more honoured than his brethren; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bore him with pain.10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh that thou wouldest richly bless me, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God brought about what he had requested.”
John 12:1-3 “12 Jesus therefore, six days before the passover, came to Bethany, where was the dead [man] Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from among [the] dead.
2 There therefore they made him a supper, and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those at table with him.3 Mary therefore, having taken a pound of ointment of pure nard of great price, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair, and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.”
